Nicely done, but a few kinks

The game is well programmed and was very reminiscent of the motorcycle scene in Final Fantasy VII, but that may just be me. It's entertaining for a while, but it gets pretty repetitive. Plus, ramming the ATP agents doesn't seem to do anything to them. I eventually started seeing new obstacles like the vans and agents parachuting in, which was nice. It was also frustrating that obstacles would damage me, but not enemies. This would often force me to keep from shaking enemies off or ramming enemies because I had to avoid an obstacle, all the while they can hurt me without fear of impact. I may as well ignore the obstacles altogether. But still, it is a good game. The graphics are nice, and the control is simple and smooth. I always feel keeping things simple is a plus. Good job!

The-Swain responds:

That FF VII scene was actually a big inspiration for the bikes. We would have liked to add melee to knock those Shinra...I mean, Madness soldiers off their bikes, but went for ramming instead. Glad you noticed :D

Nice!!!

Awesome job, man!!! I managed to beat Akuma and the secret battle. Love how you put Ken's head on the final boss from Streets of Rage. So does this mean there's going to be a sequel to this game? I hope so!!

Muja responds:

Ahahaha I needed to picture Ken in his normal/work clothes (he is the son of a very rich business man, afterall).
Anyway, I left the game opened to an eventual sequel, JUST IN CASE. I'm not really thinking to make another game on Street Fighter right now, but who knows in the future.
I'm really glad you liked this, though. Thank you.

More!

Excellent. I truly enjoy the design. The animation and cinematography is great. I also enjoy that it uses a slightly new twist on the battle system that actually works, because it's not too complicated and it keeps you engaged. Well done!

RockLou responds:

Thanks! I'm glad you like it so much! :D

Nice

Nice little game. Simple, but entertaining. Don't listen to the people complaining about the control mapping. That's like going to a foreign country and saying, "What's wrong with you people? Speak English." Btw, the word is Hajime, not Hazhime or however you spelled it.

Thunder-Hawk responds:

Nice opinion about the controls, BTW I have dropped a note about it in my general comments. Will correct this Hajime.

.......

This game SUXKS ASSS!!!! What the hell?!!!! Nah, just kidding. Great game! lots of fun. I was most impressed by the physics. The change of the control response depending on whether you were in water, on land, or in the air was right on. Well done!

SirRealism responds:

XD hahaha! Thanks for liking it! Hooray for physics! ^^

Nice

Good quiz. Just one minor tidbit. Ninjas did use katanas. However, you are correct that they did not have the materials or access to forge them, but after slaying any samurai, they would often discard their own ninja swords and take the samurai's katana as a replacement.

Lare responds:

True. Maybe I should have mentioned something about taking samurai katanas... But I'm glad you liked even a little bit.

Nice

I enjoyed this a lot. The music, although simple, was nice and very fitting. I actually thought this game was going to be based on the Jewish religion.

BoMToons responds:

Glad u liked it.

Nice game to use your brain

Really enjoyed it. I'm just about to give up on level 19 though, that thing's crazy.

GameBalance responds:

Yep.

Blue Monday

About halfway through blue monday, the tempo gets off, and it gets worse as it goes on. My flash isn't skipping, something's up with the timing.

TheKillerSocks responds:

Yeah...I timed this song first so it was sort of a test run. Then I was too lazy to go back and fix it, but I didn't really feel like getting rid of it entirely.
The other songs are pretty good though...

Love it.

Dude, really like the setup you have here, and I was pretty impressed by the fight against the dark knight. The counterattack positions were fairly accurate. Much more than I usually see in sword battles on this site. Great job. By the way, I got to the last guy on challenge mode, but before I try again and put myself through that stress, is there anything more that is unlocked by beating challenge mode?

Phendrana responds:

Gah, noooooo. I would've loved to put more content in, but time was against me. I was hoping for like a new weapon or something. Maybe next time lol.
